How Litbuy Sheets Work
This page explains how Litbuy sheets organize product links into spreadsheet rows — what each field means, how to read link status, QC reference notes, and how to use sheet rows alongside our link-checking method.
What Is a Litbuy Sheet?
A Litbuy sheet is a single spreadsheet file or tab that organizes product links into rows with supporting information. Unlike the broader term "Litbuy spreadsheet" which may refer to a collection of multiple sheets, a sheet is one data table — similar to a single tab in a workbook. Each sheet typically focuses on one product category (sneakers, hoodies, bags) or one seller.
Understanding how sheets are structured helps shoppers evaluate whether the product links inside a sheet are useful for their research. A well-organized sheet includes clear column headers, consistent data formatting, and information that can be cross-referenced with QC photo references and seller store pages.
Note: Litbuy sheets are independent research resources compiled by community members. They are not official Litbuy documents and do not guarantee link availability, seller quality, or product accuracy. Always verify each link independently before ordering.
Common Sheet Fields Explained
Community product sheets may contain the fields below. Our homepage table currently records directory and category links, technical status, source labels, and check dates; it does not contain product QC, prices, or seller ratings.
Product Name / Title
A short description of the item — usually the product name as listed on the marketplace. This is a reference label, not a verified product description. Compare it against the actual listing to confirm the link leads to the right item.
Source URL (Product Link)
The direct Taobao, 1688, or Weidian URL. This is the core of each sheet row. Open this link in a browser before pasting it into an agent to verify the product page loads and the listing details match your expectations.
Category / Type
A grouping label such as Shoes, Hoodies, Accessories, or Luxury. Categories help filter and sort rows within a sheet. They are manual labels added by whoever created the sheet and may not match the seller's own categorization.
Source Marketplace
Where the product link originates, such as Taobao, 1688 or Weidian. Confirm the exact seller and the applicable marketplace and agent terms, including return window, exclusions, fees and who handles a request. A marketplace label alone does not establish return eligibility for your order.
Size / Color / Variation
Available options noted in the sheet. These are reference notes and may not reflect current inventory. Sellers can run out of specific variations without updating their listing. Confirm availability on the product page before ordering.
QC Reference Status
Indicates whether community-submitted QC photos exist for this product link. "Available" means reference photos have been shared — not that the product passes any quality standard. Always evaluate QC photos yourself. See our QC Guide.
Last Checked Date
The date the sheet author most recently verified this link was active. Links checked within the past few days are more likely to work. Links with older dates should be opened and verified before relying on any associated pricing or availability notes.
Link Status
A simple indicator: Active (link loads correctly), Expired (page shows error or missing product), or Unknown (not recently verified). Status may change between sheet updates — always open and verify the link yourself before ordering.
Seller Notes
Observational notes about the seller — store activity level, communication responsiveness, or shipping speed. These are informal notes shared by community members, not verified seller ratings. Seller performance can change over time. Browse our Litbuy Links page for seller evaluation context.
How to Use a Sheet Row
Step 1: Read the row without opening the link
Start by scanning the category, source marketplace, QC reference status, and last checked date. This context tells you whether the link is worth investigating. A row with a recent last-checked date and available QC references is more likely to lead to a usable product listing than a row with an old date and missing QC notes.
Step 2: Open and verify the product link
Copy the source URL and open it in a browser — not directly in your agent. Confirm the product page loads, images are current, the description matches the sheet notes, and the seller\'s store is active. If anything seems outdated or inconsistent, check the original marketplace or seller. Our checked link table provides directory and category entry points, not alternative sellers for the same product.
Step 3: Cross-reference QC references
If the row indicates QC references are available, locate the corresponding photos. Compare them against retail reference images and check for construction quality, color accuracy, and detail consistency. QC references are shared by community members — they are not professional inspections and should not be treated as quality guarantees.
Step 4: Check link safety before pasting into an agent
Only paste a verified, active link into your shopping agent. Verify the product page loads, the price is current, and the desired size or variation is in stock. Ordering from an unverified link may result in failed orders, wrong variations, or unexpected pricing. See our Link Safety Guide for a full verification checklist.
Litbuy Sheets vs Spreadsheets
While the terms are sometimes used interchangeably, there is a practical distinction in how the Litbuy community uses them:
A Sheet
A single spreadsheet tab — usually organized by one product category or one seller. Example: a sheet listing only sneaker links from a specific 1688 store.
A Spreadsheet
A collection of multiple sheets or a broader research document that may include several categories, seller comparisons, and QC note summaries. Browse our link-checking method.
In practice, most Litbuy resources blur this distinction. What matters is understanding how the data is organized and knowing how to verify each link independently — regardless of whether it comes from a sheet or a spreadsheet.
